Dialogue Day - still time to book your place
A reminder to colleagues of our Dialogue Day in London on Wednesday, 12 October. This year the Day provides a fantastic CPD moment in that Sonia Bate from Edit Development will join us to deliver on two areas of interest:
1. Navigating Matrix Management - exploring the various ways that you can leverage organisational politics to work for you and to enable you to gain exposure and sponsorship with stakeholders. We will gain a deeper understanding of the political landscape in your organisation, explore the unwritten rules for career success, discover ways of positive political play, and develop a personal strategy to manage the organisational politics.
2. Self-belief and confidence - exploring the various elements that influence our self-belief and confidence, offering practical ways to build personal resilience, helping you stay focused on your individual value and worth. We will discover the power of personal resilience and agility whilst exploring the various elements of agility to enable individuals, teams and organisation to maintain optimal performance, and gain a deeper understanding of the impact perceived confidence has on our performance and career success
Sonia is the founder and Managing Director of EDIT Development (www.editdevelopment.com). She is a sought-after speaker on inclusive leadership and brings over twenty years of commercial experience to the role. At only £50 per delegate, this provides a high value opportunity for members to learn more about themselves, their organisations and others in our network. As an AMHEC member this opportunity is open to all staff within your institution so please share this information more widely.
