Prof Les Ebdon - Amhec Conference 2013 Keynote speaker announced

I am delighted to announce that Professor Les Ebdon CBE, Director of Fair Access to Higher Education at the Office for Fair Access (OFFA), will be opening our Conference in April. OFFA has a hugely important role in helping the Government achieve its mission of improved social mobility and Professor Ebdon himself works with HEIs and other sector bodies to understand what works best in improving access and retention of lower income and other under-represented groups in higher education. Les is sure to offer some fascinating thoughts on the current position of higher education and the impact, potential or otherwise,timecritics.co.uk of the higher fee regime on widening participation.

Other speakers also confirmed are Steve Egan, Deputy Chief Executive at Hefce,  Greg Burke, Funding and Market Management Director at the Teaching Agency,  Mike Boxall from PA Consulting Group, Piers Frasier, Head of Marcomms at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Siona Mackelworth, Head of Marketing & Communications at Archaeology UK and Mark Sidding, Partner at Watson Batty.

For further details about the Conference and to complete the booking form please visit our events page. Remember, an early bird rate of £275 applies until 8 February!

We are all lookng forward to seeing you this event.
